VisaRadar is a project by WyrnLabs, built and maintained by an independent developer based in Spain. We're not a travel company, not a visa agency, and not a large team — it's a small project built to answer one very specific question quickly: do I need a visa to travel from my country to my destination?
Why VisaRadar exists
Entry requirement information is usually scattered across dozens of embassy, consulate, and agency websites, in different formats, different languages, and sometimes out of date. VisaRadar was built around a simple idea: one free site, no signup, where you can check the entry requirement for any passport-destination combination in seconds, with the date that data was verified shown right on the page.
What we are NOT
- We are not a visa agency: we do not process visas or act as an intermediary with any consulate or embassy.
- We are not an official body and are not affiliated with any government.
- We do not provide immigration legal advice. The information we publish is informational only (see our disclaimer).
How we sustain the project
VisaRadar is free to use. It's funded through advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate links to services we consider genuinely useful for travelers, such as travel insurance (see our affiliate disclosure). We never charge users or sell their data.
Where the data comes from
Entry requirements are generated from an open dataset, updated weekly. The full process is explained in detail on our methodology page.
Our editorial standards
The base yes/no matrix comes from the open passport-index-dataset. Everything on top of it — consular fees, processing times, document lists, mandatory vaccinations, minimum insurance cover, customs limits, overstay penalties — is verified by hand against a cited primary source: an embassy, a consulate, or an official government instruction.
- Every field carries its own verification date and its own source, shown on the page — never one blanket date for the whole site.
- If we can't confirm a figure against an official source, we leave it blank and flag it as a gap. We never approximate or infer a legal requirement from a secondary or commercial site.
- A company that sells the product being described (a visa agency, an insurance seller) is never the only source behind a legal-obligation claim.
