How this visa is processed

Armenian diplomatic missions and consular posts abroad, with an invitation

Nepalis need a visa for Armenia and cannot use the e-Visa: Nepal is on Armenia's list of countries whose citizens can apply for a visitor visa only at an Armenian diplomatic mission or consular post abroad and with an invitation. The same list includes, among others, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and much of Africa, and the limitation does not apply to people of Armenian origin. There is a visa-free route: from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027, Nepalis holding a residence permit from the United States, an EU or Schengen State, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or Oman, valid for at least six months from entry, can enter without a visa and stay up to 180 days in a year. The permit is shown as a card or as a sticker in the passport, and for the border to recognise it, it must show in Latin script the document title, the holder's name, nationality, date of birth and validity. Armenian visas are issued for up to 120 days and can be extended by 60 more days through the Migration and Citizenship Service.
