Verified practical details
You don't need a visa to enter Palestine, but here are some practical details worth knowing before you travel:
Authorisation system
ETA-IL (Israel's electronic travel authorisation)
It costs 25 shekels, is valid for two years or until the passport expires and allows stays of up to 90 days. A new passport, name, gender or nationality requires a new one. Stays beyond 90 days or work need a visa from an Israeli embassy or consulate; anyone arriving without it may be deported.

25 ILS
ETA-IL fee, in shekels.
Required documents
- Passport valid for at least six months from the planned departure from Israel: otherwise entry may be refused.
- An ETA-IL approved before travel.
- The entry card issued at Ben Gurion, kept with the passport until departure: it may be requested at crossings into Palestine.
- Minors travelling with one parent carry the other parent's authorisation, obtained from the Police or Guardia Civil.
Transit rules
Spain's Foreign Ministry recommends avoiding demonstrations and crowds and taking great care. Near the Dead Sea there is a risk of heart complications because of the altitude below sea level, and there are cases of West Nile fever, transmitted by mosquitoes.
