Do you need a different visa for Manila, Cebu, or Boracay?

No. Philippines sets the requirements, so entering through Manila asks for the same as entering through Cebu or Boracay. If you're arriving overland or through a small border post, check that separately: some countries apply their own rules to specific crossings.

What does change is where you file the application when a visa is needed, and that depends on the country you live in rather than the city you're travelling to.

What draws travelers to Philippines

The Philippines is an archipelago of more than seven thousand islands; the trip is chosen by area and almost always includes a domestic flight. Northern Luzon holds the Cordillera rice terraces and the Spanish colonial city of Vigan, both World Heritage, plus Manila. Palawan is the natural star: El Nido and Coron, all lagoons and limestone cliffs, and the Puerto Princesa underground river, also World Heritage. Bohol, Cebu, Siargao (surf) and Boracay (beach) fill out the map. The country has 6 UNESCO World Heritage sites, half of them natural. Ten days cover Palawan plus a central island. The dry season (December-May) is best; the typhoon season runs June to November. Official advisories warn against western and central Mindanao, well away from the usual beach destinations.
