Authorisation system
EvisaCam electronic visa
Since 30 April 2024 the Cameroon visa can only be requested online through EvisaCam, with pre-registration and payment on the platform itself. There is no visa on arrival at Yaoundé or Douala airports without the prior authorisation, and overland or by sea a physical visa obtained beforehand from an embassy is required. The authorisation must be confirmed before travelling: according to Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arriving with an application sent but not approved risks being refused entry, and an invitation from a company or an individual is not enough.
