Transit rules
Because of the Ebola outbreak centred in the DRC, which the WHO has declared a public health emergency of international concern, travellers may face enhanced health screening on arrival. Spain's Foreign Ministry recommends always carrying identity documents, not travelling by road alone and taking extra care in the Pool region and on the borders with the DRC and the Central African Republic. From October to June many roads are passable only by four-wheel drive.
