Required documents

  • Passport valid for at least three months after the date of departure; you cannot enter or leave with an expired passport.
  • Printed electronic visa.

Transit rules

The land border with Iran is closed to people, except with a special permit to cross from Iran. Entry into Karabakh and the districts of Kalbajar, Lachin, Qubadli, Zangilan, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Khojavend, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Aghdam and Tartar is only possible with a special government permit, because of landmines; entering without one is an offence. Non-residents may not import drones, which are confiscated at customs.
