Free visa on arrival for short stays
Many nationalities can visit Tonga without a prior visa for up to 30 days: border officers issue a free visa on arrival. To extend the stay, contact the Immigration Department, and be careful not to overstay. Given last-minute changes to the requirements, Spain's Foreign Ministry recommends checking with the Tongan authorities. The departure tax is included in the ticket.
