Verified practical details

You'll need to apply for a visa at a consulate or embassy before travelling. Here are the practical details we've verified:

Authorisation system

Immigration Division visitor visa

The Immigration Division is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, and visa enquiries go to visaofficer@mfa.gov.ki. Passports on the 2023 exemption order enter visa-free for up to 90 days in any 12-month period and need no transit visa either. The order does not name Latvia, Lithuania or Malta, although the EU visa waiver agreement with Kiribati, applied provisionally since June 2016, covers every Schengen State. Spain's Foreign Ministry puts the visa at 40 Australian dollars for a single entry and 80 for multiple entries.
