4 destinations will, if your passport needs a visa for them, accept a document from Ireland instead, or let you use it to apply for an e-Visa or a visa on arrival. Each rule has its own conditions: some only work with a multiple-entry or already used visa, others only with residence, and some only for certain nationalities.   • Georgia

    Nationalities that need a visa for this destination.
    Conditions
    A visa or residence permit valid on the day of entry, from one of the 50 countries on the Government list (the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the EU and Schengen states, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and the six Gulf states, among others). An April 2025 amendment tightens the conditions for Gulf documents for some nationalities; we have not been able to read its official text.
    Stay
    Up to 90 days in any 180.

  • Montenegro

    Nationalities that need a visa for this destination.
    Conditions
    The visa or residence permit must be in force.
    Stay
    Up to 30 days, or until the visa expires if that is sooner.

  • Morocco

    Nationalities that need a visa for this destination.
    Conditions
    A multiple-entry visa valid for at least another 90 days. It lets you apply for the eVisa instead of going to the embassy.

  • Turkey

    Document
    Visa or residence
    Who it applies to
    Some nationalities that can only get the e-Visa under this condition, including India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Algeria and Senegal.
    Conditions
    A valid visa or residence permit. It gives a single-entry e-Visa valid for one month, applied for at evisa.gov.tr.
